As the beach house is made available to you exclusively for your stay, we have equipped the gourmet kitchen with the culinary tools you might need to prepare your own masterpieces.
If on the other hand you prefer to be pampered and looked after without leaving the comfort of Mäkoha Beach House, we recommend catering by Ruth Pretty to enjoy relaxed, fine dining in the privacy of the beach house (please arrange this by contacting the caterer on 06 364 3161).
There are also a number of excellent dining options locally on the Kapiti Coast or in Wellington if you feel like going out.
Paraparaumu Beach and Kapiti are a great base from which to explore two of New Zealand's preeminent wine regions. Greytown and Martinborough in the nearby Wairarapa District (Wellington region) are an hour and a half drive or Marlborough at the top of the South Island, only a short flight across Cook Strait. Why not consider a day trip to either of these regions. |
